Sus Beats Biography
Hassan Lamin, professionally known as Susbeats is a Sierra Leonean Music Producer, Graphic Designer, Video Editor and Photographer.
Susbeats was born in Kenema on June 20th 1992 to parents, Madam Mamie Lamin and Mr. Mohamed Joima Jalloh Lamin. He is the youngest of eight children. Sus attended the St. Paul's primary school in Kenema for a period of Six years. Thereafter, he enrolled into the Government Secondary School Kenema where he had his High school education.
He started off as a music producer as early as age 15. He discovered his producing abilities through his elder brother, Mr Brima Lamin who introduced Fruity Loops Studio and Cubase to him. Sus started working on a few songs which would be classified as an unknown genre but later that year moved on to work on hip hop and afro music. In 2011, he produced his first studio album (FREEDOM) done by Rydaz under the M&B RECORDS, a studio owned by his brother. On December 28th 2011, Sus was awarded and recognized as the Youngest music producer in the Eastern part of Sierra Leone by Dove Media Concept. In early 2012, he had to put on hold his entertainment career to complete his high school journey. The idea paid off! Sus successfully completed his exams. He went back to his production business and produced a couple of hit songs for different artists in Sierra Leone. As a result of hard work, Perseverance and dedication, Sus was awarded the Best Music Producer in the Eastern Region Music Awards (ERMA).
In 2014, Sus decided to add another feather to his hat in the realm of academia. As a business minded prodigy, he opted to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management Studies. He gained admission into the Eastern Polytechnic in Kenema, an accredited institution of Njala University, Sierra Leone where he completed his course.
Sus presently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management Studies from the Eastern Polytechnic Kenema.
